Haven't tried most of the others, but I like Adobe Premiere Elements, and the only reason they marked it down was it's lack of photo editing ability? (As far as I could see.) I have no experience of Pinnacle, but have used Ulead Videostudio 11 a lot and now Adobe Elements. One small comment the audio was very very quiet on my pc. Pretty good for an instructional video and you did make the launching process look easy! Shame about the light level as you say.
